Poster Session Neurodays 2021

The poster sessions aim at encouraging current neuroscience doctoral students to recognize the significance of their research and communicate it to the community.
Moreover, we will have a poster competition!!! The posters will be judged by a panel drawn from the Neuroschool PhD program and the best three entries will be awarded with exciting prizes!

Eligibility

All current doctoral researchers who have not graduated before 1 December 2021 are eligible.

Poster guidelines

• Each entrant should submit the abstract of their research that they wish to present in the poster (THIS FORM!) and directly come to the conference with their printed poster
• Only one poster allowed per entrant. Posters must relate to an aspect of the entrant's doctoral research (topic may be different from neuroscience & society)
• Poster can also present collected data even if the analyses are not finished yet (in such case, present an overview of the preliminary results and future steps)
• Posters should be ideally printed A1 (594mm X 841mm) size, portrait oriented. Nevertheless, you can also bring your A0 poster if you already have it this way and cannot print another one. We might try to fit landscape oriented poster if necessary, but the grid are made for portrait ones !!!
• It is the responsibility of entrants to arrange for the printing of their poster.

Poster competition - Judging criteria

Posters will be assessed according to the following criteria:

• Poster design - presentation and visual communication
• Commnunication of the research - how easily this can be understood by non-subject specialist & effective communication to the audience

Note for applicants:

The entrants must be present with their printed posters between 8:30- 9:00 am on the day of their designated slots for display of the posters on the designated conference poster board. The entrants will be informed regarding their poster presentation slots by 5th of November.
